Common Defence and Security Policy

The Common Defence and Security Policy (CDSP) is a strategy developed by the European Union to coordinate member countries' efforts in protecting peace, safety, and stability. It involves joint planning, intelligence sharing, and, in some cases, combined military actions to address threats like terrorism, cyberattacks, or conflicts. The goal is to ensure Europe can respond effectively to security challenges, both individually and collectively, while respecting each country's sovereignty. This policy strengthens the EU’s ability to defend its members and promote peace both within and outside its borders.
