Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe
The Committee of Ministers is the main decision-making body of the Council of Europe, composed of government ministers from each member country. It oversees the implementation of the organization's policies, reviews legal and human rights issues, and adopts decisions and recommendations to promote democracy, rule of law, and human rights across Europe. Meeting regularly, the Committee ensures member states uphold commitments under the European Convention on Human Rights and coordinates cooperation among nations to address shared challenges.
