Commercial Crew Development (CCDev)

Commercial Crew Development (CCDev) is a NASA initiative that partners with private aerospace companies to develop and operate spacecraft capable of transporting astronauts to the International Space Station. By fostering the growth of commercial spaceflight, CCDev aims to reduce costs, increase launch options, and promote innovation. The program provides funding and technical support to help companies design, build, and test crewed spacecraft that meet NASA safety and reliability standards, ultimately enabling regular, safe, and cost-effective access to low Earth orbit.
