Comissão de Frente

A Comissão de Frente, or "Front Committee," is the opening ensemble in a samba parade, especially in Brazilian Carnival. They perform a choreographed entrance that sets the theme of the parade, often depicting stories, characters, or cultural elements related to the samba school's overall concept. Their role is to captivate the audience and judges from the very beginning, showcasing dance, costumes, and coordination. Essentially, they serve as the parade's introduction and visual centerpiece, establishing the tone and demonstrating the group's artistic and technical skills.
