Combination

A combination is a way of selecting items from a larger set where the order of the items does not matter. For example, choosing 3 flavors of ice cream from a list of 10 options involves combinations, because the order in which you pick the flavors doesn’t matter—only which flavors you end up with. Mathematically, combinations are calculated using a specific formula, and they are useful in probability, statistics, and various decision-making situations where the focus is on the group of items chosen rather than the sequence.
