Color Rendering Index (CRI)

The Color Rendering Index (CRI) measures how accurately a light source reveals the true colors of objects compared to natural daylight. It ranges from 0 to 100, with higher values indicating more natural and vibrant color appearance. A light with a high CRI (close to 100) shows colors almost as well as sunlight, making it ideal for settings where color fidelity matters, like art studios or retail. Lower CRI lights can cause colors to look washed out, dull, or distorted. Overall, CRI helps assess how well artificial lighting enhances color perception in different environments.
