Colonel Amirouche

Colonel Amirouche, also known as Amirouche Aït Hamouda, was a prominent Algerian revolutionary leader during the country's struggle for independence from France. He coordinated military efforts and inspired many in the fight against colonial rule. Known for his strategic skills and dedication, he played a key role in expanding the nationalist movement. Sadly, he was killed in 1957 during the Algerian War of Independence. Today, Amirouche is remembered as a national hero who contributed to Algeria’s independence and sovereignty.
