Collector

A collector is a tool or component in a vehicle's engine that gathers air or exhaust gases, directing them to where they need to go. In an engine, an intake collector (or intake manifold) distributes air to the cylinders for combustion, improving efficiency. Conversely, an exhaust collector gathers exhaust gases from multiple cylinders into a single pipe to be expelled. Essentially, collectors organize the flow of air or gases to optimize engine performance, ensuring smooth operation and better power output.
