COIN Advisory Teams

COIN (Counter-Insurgency) Advisory Teams are specialized groups of military or security personnel who work alongside local forces to improve their ability to maintain security, stability, and governance. They provide strategic advice, training, and mentorship to help develop effective leadership, operations, and community engagement. The goal is to build the capacity of local partners so they can independently address threats such as insurgency or organized crime, ultimately creating a safer and more stable environment. These teams act as foreign experts supporting and strengthening local security efforts through collaboration and shared expertise.
