Cognitive semiotics

Cognitive semiotics is the study of how meaning is created and understood through the interaction of our minds and signs, like language, images, or gestures. It explores how mental processes interpret symbols and sensory information to form understandings, combining insights from cognitive science (how the mind works) and semiotics (the study of signs). Essentially, it looks at how our brains make sense of the signs we encounter daily, helping us communicate, think, and perceive the world around us.
