Coalition for the Expansion of NAFTA

The Coalition for the Expansion of NAFTA was a group of businesses, organizations, and policymakers advocating for the broadening of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which aimed to enhance trade between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The coalition believed that expanding NAFTA would boost economic growth, increase job opportunities, and strengthen partnerships among the three countries. Their goal was to eliminate trade barriers, enhance market access, and create a more integrated North American economy, ultimately benefiting consumers and businesses alike. NAFTA was later replaced by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) in 2020.
