CO2 Capture and Storage

CO2 Capture and Storage (CCS) is a technology designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from industrial processes and power plants. It involves capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions before they enter the atmosphere, then transporting the captured CO2 to a suitable underground site. There, the CO2 is injected into deep rock formations where it is stored securely for long periods, preventing climate change.
