Image for CNNs (Convolutional Neural Networks)

CNNs (Convolutional Neural Networks)

Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are a type of artificial intelligence designed to recognize patterns, particularly in images. They work by using structures called layers that mimic how the human brain processes visual information. Each layer identifies different features, like edges or textures, and combines them to understand larger patterns, such as shapes or objects. This makes CNNs particularly effective for tasks like image classification, facial recognition, and even autonomous driving. Essentially, they enable computers to "see" and interpret images much like we do, but using mathematical operations to do so.
