CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black)
CMYK is a color model used in color printing. It stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black, which are the four inks used to produce a full range of colors on paper. By blending different amounts of these four inks, printers can create detailed images with rich colors. Cyan, magenta, and yellow are subtractive primaries, meaning they remove (subtract) certain wavelengths of light. Black adds depth and detail, making prints sharper and more realistic. This system allows for precise color reproduction in printed materials like magazines, brochures, and photos.
