Clytemnestra is a prominent figure from Greek mythology, known as the queen of Mycenae and wife of King Agamemnon. She is famous for her complex character—devoted and loving but also driven by revenge. After Agamemnon sacrifices their daughter Iphigenia to win favor from the gods, Clytemnestra betrays him, ultimately murdering him upon his return from the Trojan War.
