Cluster of Excellence Climate, Climatic Change, and Society (CLICCS)

The Cluster of Excellence CLICCS is a research initiative focused on understanding the complex relationships between climate change, societal responses, and future impacts. It brings together scientists from various fields to study how climate change affects communities, economies, and ecosystems, and how society can adapt and mitigate these effects. The goal is to generate knowledge that informs policy and promotes sustainable solutions, ultimately helping societies better prepare for and address the challenges posed by a changing climate.
