cloning technology
Cloning technology involves creating an exact genetic copy of an organism or cell. It typically starts with removing a nucleus—containing DNA—from one cell and implanting it into an egg cell that has had its nucleus removed. The egg then develops into an organism genetically identical to the original. This process can be used in research, medicine, or agriculture. Cloning doesn't mean copying a person’s personality or memories, only their genetic material. Advances in cloning have raised ethical questions, but they also hold potential for medical treatments, saving endangered species, and understanding genetics more deeply.
