Clone Breeding

Clone breeding involves creating genetically identical copies of an organism through a process called cloning. This technique uses a method like somatic cell nuclear transfer, where the nucleus from a donor organism's cell is inserted into an egg cell whose nucleus has been removed. The egg then develops into an organism that is virtually identical to the donor in genetic makeup. Cloning is used in agriculture to replicate desirable traits in animals and plants, helping ensure consistency and productivity. While it produces exact genetic copies, clones may still exhibit differences due to environmental factors and gene expression.
