Clonal propagation

Clonal propagation is a method of creating new plants that are genetically identical to the original plant. This process involves taking a part of the parent plant—such as cuttings, stems, or tissues—and encouraging it to grow into a new, independent plant. Since the new plant shares the same DNA as the parent, it maintains all its characteristics, like flavor, size, or resistance traits. Clonal propagation is commonly used in agriculture and horticulture to produce uniform crops and plants with desirable qualities efficiently and reliably.
