Clipping Masks

A clipping mask is a technique in design where one layer (the mask) controls the visibility of another layer beneath it. Think of it as a stencil: the shape of the top layer reveals parts of the bottom layer only within its bounds, hiding everything outside. This allows for precise control over which parts of an image or design are visible, enabling complex compositions without altering the original images. Clipping masks are widely used in graphic design and photo editing to create clean, layered visuals efficiently.
