Clinical Breast Exam

A Clinical Breast Exam (CBE) is a physical check performed by a healthcare provider to look for any unusual changes or lumps in the breasts and nearby areas. During the exam, the doctor gently feels the breasts, underarm, and collarbone to detect any abnormalities such as lumps, thickening, or skin changes. This check helps in early detection of breast problems, including cancer, especially when combined with other screenings like mammograms. Regular CBEs are an important part of maintaining breast health and should be done as recommended by your healthcare provider.
