Clindamycin

Clindamycin is an antibiotic medication used to treat bacterial infections. It works by stopping bacteria from multiplying, helping the body's immune system to eliminate the infection. It is commonly prescribed for skin infections, respiratory tract infections, and certain bone or joint infections. Clindamycin can be taken as a pill or applied as a topical cream, and in some cases, given through injections. Like all antibiotics, it’s important to finish the prescribed course to prevent resistance. While effective, it may cause side effects such as stomach upset or allergic reactions, so it should be used under medical supervision.
