Climatic Change

Climatic change refers to significant, long-term shifts in the Earth’s weather patterns and global temperatures. It mainly results from increased levels of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, largely caused by human activities such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation. These gases trap heat in the atmosphere, leading to global warming. As a consequence, we experience more extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and changes in ecosystems. Climate change poses challenges to communities, economies, and biodiversity, emphasizing the need for actions to reduce emissions and adapt to the changing climate.
