Classical Element
Classical elements refer to the ancient Greek idea that the universe is composed of four fundamental substances: earth, water, air, and fire. These elements were believed to explain natural phenomena and the physical world’s properties—earth for stability, water for fluidity, air for movement, and fire for energy and transformation. Although modern science has replaced this concept with atomic theory and physical laws, the classical elements remain influential in philosophy, literature, and alchemy, symbolizing different qualities and aspects of human experience.
