Class A Amplifier
A Class A amplifier is a type of electronic device that boosts audio or signal power while maintaining high fidelity. It operates by continuously conducting current through its output transistor or tube, even when no signal is present, ensuring very accurate reproduction of sound with minimal distortion. Because it always stays active, it produces very clean audio but tends to generate more heat and is less energy-efficient than other amplifier classes. Class A amplifiers are often used in high-end audio equipment where sound quality is a priority over power efficiency.
