Clarence Anglin

Clarence Anglin was one of the inmates involved in the famous 1962 escape from Alcatraz Prison, a maximum-security facility on an island in San Francisco Bay. Along with his brother John and Frank Morris, Anglin helped plan and execute the daring escape, which involved hollowing out sections of their cells, creating dummy heads to fool guards, and navigating the icy waters by makeshift raft. Although officially listed as missing and presumed drowned, many believe Anglin and the others survived, and their fate remains a subject of fascination and mystery.
