Civil trial
A civil trial is a legal process where two parties—individuals, companies, or organizations—dispute a non-criminal issue, like a disagreement over contracts, property, or personal injury. The goal is to resolve the conflict and determine if one party is legally responsible for damages or obligations. During the trial, both sides present evidence and arguments to a judge (and sometimes a jury), who then makes a decision called a judgment. The outcome often involves one party compensating the other or fulfilling specific obligations, rather than penalizing with criminal sanctions.
