Civil Appeals

Civil appeals are a legal process that allows a party involved in a civil case (such as a dispute over a contract, property, or personal injury) to request a higher court to review and possibly change the decision made by a lower court. If someone believes the lower court made an error in applying the law or assessing the evidence, they can appeal. The appellate court examines whether proper legal procedures were followed and if the correct legal standards were used, but it generally does not re-evaluate the facts unless there was a clear mistake. The goal is to ensure fairness and correctness in the legal process.
