Citizens of the Islamic State

Citizens of the Islamic State (ISIS) are individuals who support or are affiliated with the militant group that follows a strict interpretation of Islamic law. These individuals may reside in the territory controlled by ISIS or outside of it, and often believe in establishing an Islamic caliphate through armed struggle. Their roles can range from fighters and leaders to supporters who fund or promote the group's ideology. Understanding them involves recognizing their commitment to ISIS’s goals, which include imposing their version of Islamic governance and resisting Western influence, often through violence or extremism.
