
Citadel of Hue
The Citadel of Huế, also known as the Imperial City, is a historic fortress in Vietnam, serving as the former imperial capital's political and cultural hub. Built between the early 19th and early 20th centuries, it features massive walls, gates, palaces, temples, and gardens, showcasing traditional Vietnamese architecture and royal grandeur. The Citadel was designed for defense and administration, symbolizing the Nguyen Dynasty’s power.
