The CIPM MRA (Mutual Recognition Arrangement) is an international agreement among national metrology institutes (NMIs) to recognize each other's measurement standards and calibration results. Essentially, when one country calibrates a device, others can trust its accuracy without recalibrating locally, saving time and costs.
