Cipher Suites
A cipher suite is a set of algorithms used to secure communications over the internet. It determines how data is encrypted (made unreadable to outsiders), how keys are exchanged securely, and how messages are authenticated. Think of it as a recipe that specifies the methods for locking and unlocking information between devices. Different cipher suites provide varying levels of security and performance, and they are used during the initial handshake of a secure connection, such as in HTTPS, to ensure data remains private and authentic between sender and receiver.
