CIMA exam structure

The CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) exam structure is divided into three levels: Operational, Management, and Strategic. Each level tests different skills—ranging from basic management accounting to strategic decision-making. Within these levels, candidates take a combination of objective tests (multiple-choice questions) and case study exams that simulate real-world scenarios. The exams are designed to assess both technical knowledge and practical application, progressively building in complexity. Passing all levels qualifies individuals for the Chartered Management Accountant designation, preparing them for strategic roles in business.
