Church of the Tithes
The Church of the Tithes was a grand medieval church in Kyiv, Ukraine, built in the 11th century. It was one of the largest Christian churches in the region, serving as a central place of worship and religious authority. Named after the agricultural tithe it received, the church played a key role in religious and political life. Over centuries, it was destroyed and rebuilt multiple times due to invasions and political changes. Today, only archaeological remnants remain, but it is considered an important symbol of Kyiv's medieval history and its development as a religious center.
