Chuang Tzu (Zhuangzi)

Chuang Tzu (Zhuangzi) was an influential Chinese philosopher from the 4th century BCE, associated with Daoism. His teachings emphasize living in harmony with the natural flow of life (the Dao), embracing spontaneity, and letting go of rigid distinctions or overly strict thinking. He used stories, parables, and humor to illustrate how perceptions can be limiting, encouraging openness to change and acceptance of uncertainty. His work promotes simplicity, humility, and the idea that true understanding arises from aligning oneself with nature’s effortless, spontaneous way of being.
