Christians in Rome
Christians in Rome during the early centuries faced complex social and political challenges, as they were initially a minority practicing a faith that diverged from the traditional Roman religions. They often met secretly for worship and rituals, which sometimes led to misunderstandings or persecution by authorities who viewed them as subversive. Despite these challenges, Christianity gradually spread throughout Rome, influenced by its message of love, hope, and salvation. Over time, it gained favor, culminating in its acceptance as the official religion of the Roman Empire in the early 4th century under Emperor Constantine.
