Christian, Prince of Denmark

Christian, Prince of Denmark (born in 1577), was the eldest son of King Frederick II of Denmark and Norway. As heir apparent, he was expected to succeed his father but died at age 11 before inheriting the throne. His short life was marked by his upbringing in a royal court and exposure to political and cultural affairs of the time. His death prevented him from becoming king, but he was remembered as a noble figure in Danish history.
