Choro

The choro is a layer of tissue located inside the eye, between the retina and the sclera (the eye's white outer layer). It is rich in blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the retina, which is essential for vision. The choroid also helps regulate eye temperature and remove waste products. It’s a vital part of the eye's anatomy, maintaining the health and function of the retina, especially the light-sensitive cells that detect images. Without the choroid's proper functioning, clear and healthy vision would be compromised.
