Chippewa Indians

The Chippewa, also known as the Ojibwe or Anishinaabe, are a Native American tribe primarily located in the northern United States and Canada. They have a rich cultural heritage rooted in fishing, hunting, and gathering, especially around the Great Lakes. The Chippewa are known for their elaborate beadwork, birchbark crafts, and vibrant oral traditions. They historically formed a decentralized alliance of bands with a strong spiritual connection to nature.
