Chinese Coast Guard
The Chinese Coast Guard is China's maritime security organization responsible for protecting its maritime interests, enforcing laws, and maintaining order in coastal waters. It conducts patrols, enforces fishing and shipping regulations, responds to maritime emergencies, and asserts sovereignty over disputed areas. Operating under the State Oceanic Administration and other government agencies, it uses ships, boats, and aircraft to monitor and control China’s extensive coastline and maritime zones, playing a key role in national security, resource management, and asserting territorial claims in the region.
