Chin National Army (CNA)

The Chin National Army (CNA) is an ethnic armed group based in Myanmar, representing the Chin people, one of the country's many ethnic minorities. It emerged from regional resistance efforts seeking greater autonomy or independence from the central government. The CNA engages in military activities, including fighting against the Myanmar military (also known as the Tatmadaw), to defend Chin interests and promote self-rule. Like other ethnic armed organizations in Myanmar, it plays a role in the country’s ongoing conflict and peace processes, advocating for the rights and recognition of its community.
