Children's Television Workshop (CTW)
Children's Television Workshop (CTW), now known as Sesame Workshop, is a nonprofit organization founded in 1968 that created educational children's programming. Best known for "Sesame Street," CTW aimed to help young children, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, acquire basic skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development through engaging and entertaining content. The workshop combines educational goals with innovative storytelling, puppetry, and animation, fostering a playful learning environment. Over the years, it has expanded to produce various shows and resources, contributing significantly to early childhood education and media for children worldwide.
