Its goal is to learn from each case to improve child safety and wellbeing. The panel gathers data from hospitals, doctors, and social services, then analyzes it to provide insights and recommendations for reducing child fatalities. CDOPs work collaboratively to ensure that lessons are shared and that actions can be taken to prevent future tragedies, ultimately aiming to save the lives of other children.
