Chi-squared test for independence
The Chi-squared test for independence checks whether two categorical variables are related or independent. It compares observed data to what we would expect if there were no relationship between the variables. If the observed differences are large enough, the test suggests that the variables are likely connected. For example, it can determine if a person's preference for a type of music is related to their age group. The result helps us understand whether the variables influence each other or if any association might be due to chance.
