Chess Federation of India

The Chess Federation of India (CFI) is the national governing body responsible for regulating, promoting, and developing chess in India. It organizes national championships, selects players for international events, and sets rules and standards for the sport within the country. The CFI works to enhance the skills of players at all levels, supports chess clubs and training programs, and represents India in the International Chess Federation (FIDE). Its goal is to foster a vibrant chess culture and help Indian players excel on the global stage.
