Chen Sheng

Chen Sheng was a Chinese leader who co-founded the first major rebellion against the Qin Dynasty in 209 BCE. Originally a commoner and military leader, he united a large group of soldiers and peasants to challenge the oppressive imperial rule. His uprising, known as the Dazexiang Uprising, marked the beginning of widespread resistance that eventually contributed to the fall of the Qin Dynasty.
