Chelsea Pitch Owners (CPO) is a community group that owns the land and pitch used by Chelsea Football Club in London. Their main purpose is to ensure the club cannot buy the stadium or move away, maintaining the club’s home at Stamford Bridge. Members of CPO hold a special ownership that gives them control over any major changes to the land or stadium. This cooperative model helps protect the club’s historic presence and prevents external companies or individuals from taking over or relocating Chelsea FC without consensus.
