Charles H. McGee was a distinguished American military pilot and officer, known for his extraordinary service as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force. Over his nearly 30-year career, he flew more than 400 combat missions in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, making him one of the most experienced and decorated pilots in history. As a member of the Tuskegee Airmen—America’s first Black military aviators—his contributions helped break racial barriers in the armed forces.
