Charles Coulomb

Charles Coulomb was a French physicist best known for discovering the law that describes how electric charges interact with each other. His law states that the force between two charged objects depends on the size of their charges and how far apart they are—the larger the charges, the stronger the attraction or repulsion; the farther apart, the weaker the force. This relationship helps us understand electrical phenomena in nature and technology. Coulomb’s work laid the foundation for much of modern electromagnetism, making it easier to predict and control electrical forces in various applications.
