A charge cycle refers to one complete process of charging and discharging a battery. For example, using 50% of a battery's capacity and then recharging it fully counts as half a cycle. Over time, batteries wear out after many such cycles, which gradually reduces their ability to hold a charge. It's important to note that a full charge cycle doesn't have to happen all at once; multiple partial charges can add up to one full cycle.
